We are pleased to announce that Michael Yosowitz has joined Tide Rock as CFO. Michael brings over a decade of experience as a growth company CFO and Vice President at Goldman Sachs, and his impact has been immediate as he played a significant role in closing the recent ISC Engineering acquisition.
Michael will serve as the CFO of Tide Rock’s portfolio companies and will oversee our back-office team, which includes accounting, HR, recruiting, and marketing resources. Tide Rock’s shared back-office resources are a critical component of our value creation strategy as we provide enterprise-level resources on a fractional basis to our portfolio companies while they grow to a size at which they can support the full cost of an equivalent team.
Prior to joining Tide Rock, Michael was the CFO of OrionCKB and interim CFO of Seismic Games. He helped operate and grow OrionCKB through its sale in 2017 to Elite SEM, a Mountaingate Capital portfolio company. He also helped Seismic Games streamline its financial operations and complete a sale to Niantic in 2018. Michael was a Vice President of Investment Banking with Goldman Sachs in San Francisco and Houston prior to becoming a CFO. Michael earned his BBA from the University of Texas at Austin and his MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
