History of the name "Tiderock":

Rosser Reeves (the boys' great grandfather) came out of retirement in 1967 to form the Tiderock Corporation.  He described it as a "think tank" for corporate business*.  The corporation itself was named after the family residence on Cedar Island, Larchmont, New York.  Today the website of the same name simply is what you see here.

The photo above is a view from the boys' maternal great great grandfather's summer house on Narragansett Bay in Rhode Island.
